College Cockpit

Postby Travis » Sat Jul 12, 2008 9:55 pm

I am about to start attending TSTC (Texas State Technical College) to get my pilot's license (!!!) and I discovered that they are building a complete CRJ cockpit that fills an entire room!

It is only bare parts right now, but they have beautiful yokes and pedals.  What they are needing right now are components for the various controls of the aircraft (throttles left and right, radios, etc).

I'm looking to research these, since I want to be on the design team for this fantastic setup.

They're running FSX with massive capabilities, which will soon be a quad-core system.  I don't know the exact specs on the machine, but it will be able to handle multiple screen outputs (at least seven) and peripherals for two pilots with full functions.

Any links are very much appreciated! ;D
