Not to joke about a bad subject but my Father-In-Law asked me if I planned on training terrorists with my cockpit :o  Too soon? ;D

Yeah.... that whole "terriorist" subject is "weird" when it comes to home cockpits.  It appears that these days "paranoia" abounds.  ::)

He probably was making a joke........ but too many folks would possibly look at this hobby and have a little niggling "worry" in the back of their mind about "that guy next door with the cockpit in his basement".

Blech.  :P

Doesn't surprise me. Read an article today stating that 4000 aircraft had been auctioned at AMARC, including trainers such as T-34s, of which many fly in civilian hands already. So paranoid are "the powers that be" post 9/11, that all the aircraft were sold on the proviso they are scrapped on site, and no part larger than 10cm x 10cm remains. ::)
