I am taking a dive off the deep end.

Yupp the ghetto pit has reached its TBO and its time for an upgrade. I just ordered a beamer and started sketching plans for the new pit. I have a pantry room in my basement that I will be moving the rig to thats totally dark with no outside light for the projector to do its thing. I am not going enclosed "well I am taking the whole room" which is about 7x12 enclosure so there should be plenty of room. I am thinking of ditching the f-16 seat and making a hybrid that can function as a warbird, a jet fighter, and as a GA airplane, or easily switch between the three.

Why you ask?

well I spent a couple hours on Sunday extending a force feedback by about 16 inches and moving the buttons and everything up top and did some flying with that and the rudders... hold crap my interest was instantly reborn!!
