Card and Switches

Postby Holclo » Thu Nov 29, 2007 4:14 am

I have just taken the fatal step into cockpit meddling (wouldn't call it building ---yet!!). I purchased an A-Pac keyboard emulator card and have successfully made a few plexi panels and  wired several momentary push button switches. Great thrill when they work first time! I would now like to progress to toggle and rotary selector switches. Can someone advise me on the simplest "next step" card to allow this. Looking at the Hagstrom etc but need guidance. And please advise on switches - toggles are ok but which type of rotary should I buy (e.g I want it to select range in EFIS and another to set autobrake levels). Many thanks for your help.

Look into allelectronics.com for your switches, very reasonable prices ;)
