Anyone messed with Flightdeck Technology Hardware?

I haven't actually done anything regarding building a home cockpit yet, but I've been doing a ton of research and working on some basic electronics skills so I will be up to snuff on wiring and all that once I really get started. The IO stuff I am looking at at the moment is the hardware from Flight Deck Technology. It is one of the links in the Construction Resources sticky in this forum.

I was wondering if anyone here uses any of their hardware? If so, what do you think of it? Any opinions, either good or bad? It seems to be a pretty good solution for interfacing, and I especially like their slick software.

I have talked to a guy who works there a couple of times and he seems very helpful and willing to give advice, but he is of course biased, so I am looking for some more wide-spread opinions of their hardware/software.

Any input?

Thanks greatly!

Thanks!

It is looking like there are not too many people using this that frequent this forum.  Sorry for the lack of response.

So I noticed. :) Not a problem. That's how these things go sometimes. I've been reading the sticky with links to all your construction posts to get some ideas as well.

First thing is first, VERY impressive!

I am actually considering checking out one of the Hagstrom Keyboard Encoders as well. They're considerably cheaper, and while they don't have quite the same level of functionality, they still provide a lot of options, and will give me more than enough to play with for some time to come.

Thanks for the reply!
