Goflight, very nice equipment, but way out of the price range of the average simmer

Matt
Matt,
Yeah..... not cheap by any means. The whole "simpit" thing is likely out of the price range for the "average simmer".

It is only for us folks that are truly hard-core addicted and who skip our shots. 8-)
But actually.... Goflight is rather reasonable for SOME stuff....... when compared to some of the more EXPENSIVE options out there that are more literal copies of real aircraft components.
And they are "plug and play".....which if your TIME is worth anything...... is sort of a "discount" off the price.
The VRP-166 radio units are a VERY nice solution to the radio stack in a simpit. They don't fit that standard Boeing or Airbus panel "module" ...... but that can be dealt with if you make the panel more "generic".
Unfortunately... like most things... their prices seem to be creeping up.
best,

Yes you are right, some of the smaller modules are not so bad, it is just a question of priorities at the moment, which is not really helped by me working in a hanger that has Aerosoft (
www.aerosoft.com) as a neighbour (need drooling Homer Simpson smiley)
