This was moved here from another thread....JB

Hello

I have been re-directed here from another forum Titla Undock.

Can anyone tell me how to Undock an open panel from one screen to another.  I am not as advanced as some of you guys are, but I have just started to connect more than one screen and would like to put the overhead panel in the overhead screen.  If I hold own the mouse key it will drag but only as far as the primary screen will allow.  I cannot get it into the 2nd screen. I have read somewhere that this can be done by Undocking the panel but the undock cammand is greyed out.

Any help will be appreciated.

I love your cockpit.  I wish I have the scills to build my own.  For now multi screens will do.

Thanks and Regards

Mike

Mike,

Have you set up the multi monitors configuration in the display setup in Windows XP so that you see #1 and #2 as options?  Does moving windoes work with other programs?  What video card are you using?

That information will likely help folks figure this out.

best,

........john

Please forgive me you must think I am very rude not to answer this earlier.
I have a custom built system, not sure of the Motherboard, I suspect ATI, the graphics is NVidea6600 dual core. I have 2 gig Ram. OS XP Pro. This system is for Simming only.  Other than Norton Antvirus and Systemworks the only program on there is FS9 and a few add ons. ASV 6,5. PMDG 737/747.
I have been an avid Simmer for many years, I had my PPL but 2 strokes left me unable to fly for real.  I am now content to fly heavies on the computer.
Recently I have been given a second monitor and have looked at the possiblity of running more than one monitor. I wanted to know how to undock a window within FS9 to show overhead or pedestal. I think I have now sussed this but have another question.  If I want more than 2 monitors how do I connect them??.
Whist I am not totally computer literate, like some of you chaps I can find my way around.  Thanks and Regards
Mike
