Hi all
I am thinking to use two of my 18" monitors turned 90' for my simulator main panels . I want to build Boeing 767-200 flight deck whcih has the FD above the ND. I am wondering if there is a way to start windows from the side of a monitor. In other words to have the windows task bar on the side and rotate the monitors 90 degrees. (I am not asking to drag the task bar like when by accident one moves it to the side.) I want to move it permanently so that all the icons will act as if they are turned 90 degrees. I use Free FD whose panels can be tilted to any diection, but since it is not possible to turen FsXpand's panels, I am forced to consider the above way. I hope I have explaind myself well :) Any help appreciated.

If i understand tou wel, you would like to urn your desktop 90degrees. So if you turn your monitor, it will still be possible to look at your monitor and see everything at the normal way.

Nvidea drivers have it somewere in their drivers where you can adjust this. Turn  the desktop 90, 180, 270 no problem.

I think other manufacturers have such a functin too. Just explore your driver
(right click on the desktop-properties-settings-advanced)

Norbert,
Thankyou very much. You know I knew it was possible and I couldn't remember how I did it years ago. Especially when one finds out something by accident, no attention is paid and that chance wont come again.
Thanks again.
