Check out this new usb interface (called the MJoy16-C1)  for hooking up a lot of switches and pots and such for your simpit:

Looks great, thanks for the link. Do you know of any companies in the US that sell similerly priced interfaces like that?

Tacitblue,

For the less expensive interface options, check out the other threads in this forum that reference Hagstrom cards, Phidgets, and Plasma cards.  Not exactly the same as this one,....... but close.  Each has it's pluses and minuses.

The "Cadillac" of the interfaces is the Epic card....... with a Cadillac price tag too.  And it takes some sophisticated programming to get all the "bang for the buck" out of it.

No reason not to buy from the UK in this international day and age.   ;)

Not heard of Hagstrom, phidgets is just a little to expensive, and no information exists on the net about plasma cards (at least non that I could find). I did send an e-mail to mindaugas asking if they do international sales, so we shall see. All I want this for right now is to build a generic twin prop throttle quadrant. its either this or buy two 3-axis joysticks and hack them.

TacitBlue,

Aha,.........

For the basis of a throttle quadrant you can get the GoFlight Remote Mount Kit for their throttle quadrant.
