FS newbie

I'm a relative newcomer to this hobby.  I currently traded up from a Sidewinder FF to a Saitek X45 stick/throttle (and I'm never going back!)

I'm thinking of adding pedals to my configuration, any recomendations?

The best pedals out there are made by
CH Products. See here:

I have them and flying has been totally great! Not a bad price either!

Can I use them with my Saitek X45 stick?

Yes they can as far as I know!
You can contact them and ask.
I think I remember seeing a set up with the Pro Pedals and the Saitek. Just don't assign rudder control to the saitek!

This response may be a little late, but YES. The CH Prod. Pro Pedals work perfectly with the X45. Like Fly2e said, just be sure to unassign the rudder from the Saitek. I don't care much for the See-Saw rudder control on the X45, but it does work wonderfully when assigned to Pan Left/Right. There are times when I'm not using my head tracker and this serves the purpose.

My only two criticisms of them are that I wish the spacing between them as a bit wider and more like the spacing for pedals on a "heavy" jet... and that I wish they looked more like real aircraft pedals instead of a "computer peripheral".

Didn't you also say once they were too loose? I heard someone say they tied theirs up with bungi(sp) cord.
