should keep you busy for more than an hour. Of course after you read this stuff youll start thinking of designs and more computer stuff, and then you have to figure a way to talk the wife into letting you build a big cockpit in the house ;D (unless you are one of the lucky ones that don't have to worry about that last bit).

Here's another good description of a cockpit that does not use totally outrageous expensive solutions to the flight controls.

Just found the following website that shows a pretty nice setup that does not (yet) involve constructing an enclosure that resembles an aircraft cockpit.  It is basically a "desktop" type setup that involves glass cockpits stuff and Goflight stuff and so on.

The website presentation itself is REALLY well done.
