Gearing up for an overhaul

Only for Genuine FS fanatics! Taking this hobby from Real to Surreal? Or maybe just combining 4 hobbies into 1 ;)

The vertical button strip is the 1-10 buttons on the keyboard, plus tab "ATC"
As for the panels and overlays, I made up some generic backgrounds to replace the 2D panel backgrounds.

I renamed these background to whatever the panel for the plane is called and renamed the originals as back-ups then went to Panel Studio and moved around the gauges to match the placement on my background templates......then I opened up the sim and undocked, re-located, and re-sized the panel to my second monitor , then I saved the flight and everytime I load up that plane I get the panel sized up on my second screen. Then I repeat this process for every plane I want to use with the set-up. Because I have used the same background for more than one plane then I will only need to make a few covers to fit over the monitor.....so with the panel illuminated on my lower screen I took a sheet of clear plastic and laid it over the monitor and traced each gauge that I wanted to cut out, then I laid the plastic over my 1/8" MDF cover and traced everything onto the wood cover......cut it out, paint it, and sit it over the monitor........then go flying <<s
