Extreme Novice Question

Does anyone know where I can purchace small monitors? About 4in x 4 in? Do they even make them?

CRT or LCD?
I asume LCD...?

I looked around a lot myself (Google is your friend), and found that most 5" or less LCDs are either little TVs with built-in tuners and no inputs, or they only have S-video or composite inputs (not VGA like a computer monitor). You know, the kind they install in cars nowadays. the ones that are true computer monitors are expensive.

I did buy one (5")for a song on eBay, forgetting of course that it was missing all the input circuitry.  The problem there is that different mfrs. have very specific electronics for their TFTs; I may end up having to make the input module myself (which is not cheap when all is said and done), because I haven't been able to find a match for this screen.

Anyway, I didn't keep all the links from my search... best thing is to do your own search.
