FJR Edit:  The following is a press release from FSCockpits.com

It is time to close 2005 and make a start with 2006. In the last year FScockpit.com received over 70.000 visitors. 50% stayed long enough to actually consume the content. On average 10% of the daily visitors is reading the content longer than 1 (!) hour and around 25% of the daily visitors are returning visitors. Many visitors took the time to e-mail with feedback. A considerable number of sites linked to from FScockpit.com saw a significant increase in visitors. All this is much more than we expected at the start: a big "thank you" to our readers.

For the year-end holiday period the content is updated with the latest information. Exciting new sites of fellow cockpit builders and suppliers in the sections "User groups and forums" (VATIL, Polish VATSIM), "Links to other cockpit builders" and "Links to suppliers". Also updates can be found in the sections:
- 2.1 The use of real aircraft cockpits (R22 Project)
- 7.1 Cockpit specifications (Sim Seat Systems, Project Magenta, Monitor Canopy, PilotManuals)
- 7.5 Mechanical gauges (SDP/IS)
- 7.9 Display system (Nico's flightplank)
- 7.12 Vibration system (Nico's flightplank, Body Shaker)
- 7.13 Motion system (Force Dynamics)
- 8. Conclusion (Trophy Fishing Online, truck driving simulator, RacingCockpit)

For 2006 FScockpit.com will again closely follow the developments around simulator cockpit construction in order to make sure you can find your way into simulator cockpit construction.

FScockpit.com whishes you a marry Christmas and a happy new year !

PS: There is a new survey on the homepage. Help us to develop the site that you like to read and fill out this survey.

FYI - I've taken the liberty of slightly editing the above post, as rather than a "normal" post, it really is a press release.

Given that this is such a specilized part of the hobby, I'm being a bit lenient as to letting this "quasi-ad" go through.

That is a really good website. I think a link should go on the resources sticky.
