I go to school at a school which follows the IB International Baccalaureate Diploma programme. To obtain our diploma, we need at least 150 hours of logged CAS (creativity/action/service) hours. However, im not doing anything for creativity yet, so I asked the CAS coordinator and she said that building anything from scratch counts as creativity, as long as were learning something.
Now, Ive always wanted to try build something, but I just got a new HOTAS so I dont think I want to bother with a throttle. However, do you guys think I can build rudder pedals? I wanted to do this for my CAS and as a complementery assignment for my physics course.
However, I have no idea how to start and where to look. Is it even possible for me to pull this feat? I have a lot of time, about a year or more left to do this if I choose to. :)
PS for the service part of my CAS, Robert and I started a flight simulator club at our school, friday afternoon after school activity.

The International School Virtual Flight Organisation.
I think the first VFO at an International school in our country ;)
Its pretty cool, two of my students today nailed straight and level flight, and all brought the cessnas down safely. It feels so satisfying! 8)
Roberts students crashed their planes! ;D
Anyways, any guidance would be appreciated. :)
