I'm reading a book

What are you laughing at?

I'm reading a book

Postby bigcav » Fri Apr 21, 2017 10:42 am

I'm reading a book about Asthma.
I tell you, it takes your breath away.

I just finished one about how the old iron ships were built.
It was riveting.

I'm reading a book about how god created a 24 hour period.
He really made my day.

I lost my job as a new gun impersonator.
I've never been fired before.

A friend of mine was accidently made part of a wing.
He really was in a flap!

Do you know he refused to frighten poultry.
That's right. He wouldn.t say "boo" to a goose.

I was accused of stealing from round a garden.
I could have took a fence.

You'd best skip "One Thousand and One Nights", AKA "Arabian Nights".

I always fall asleep before the end.

I'm reading a boring book about glue.
But I think I will stick with it.

You're reading a book -- seems you're quickly reading quite a few...
puts to rest those who said you couldn't read! Anyway, rather know what you mean...

Technical books are often rather boring but I once read a book on High Current Power Supplies, Generators and Batteries and really got a charge out of it.

Prior to WWII there was an article about a doomsday weapon (titled something like Der Jüngste Tag Waffe) by a little-known German scientist named Adam Baum.

Then there was a book titled Floodwaters by I P Rivers & Bobby Ocean...

too many -- I'd be too many hours typing with these sore fingers.
