I usually have that sort of bad timing, still reading the manuals and haven't flown it yet and the P38 is a joy to fly.

I have downloaded this ac and it cuts in and out like its hunting fuel, has anyone else had this problem. It has plenty of fuel, I can get it started and it will fly and will gain altitude but then it quits and I have to make a dead stick landing. Fuel mixture is set for rich tried to switch tanks selector switch won't budge. Anybody got an answer??? Thanks and appreciate your help

I read somewhere else you have to keep the fuel pump running until it gets up to temp.

Roy if you start up from cold and dark you will have to press Shift + M and the turn on the fuel pump.

The starter handle is very well hidden behind a cover lower left side of the instrument panel. The cover looks like a strip of metal you click on this and the panel opens revealing the starter handle, I spent along time looking for it.

Dave T. Thanks pal I found it on the lower right panel. You are right it was well hidden. As soon as I hit that switch it smoothed out to a 600 rpm idle. Thanks for your time.

Just a quick question....I downloaded both aircraft. The P-38 is a beautiful flyer with no problems. The Ju87 on the other hand has given me some issues...specifically, it wants to install on "F" drive, which doesn't exist. I have my FSX in a dedicated hard drive on "G". I can't change the download parameters. Any ideas? All assistance greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve did the P38 automatically find the location of Fsx? Did you select the right version of fsx in the stuka installer. Steve check your messages at the top of this page Dave.

One of the texture folders has a prop.dds texture that shouldn't be in it delete this and the black prop disk returns to normal, Note do not delete any textures from within the base texture folder.
