I got a weekly, howbeit, part time, job at (px links to site):

Image

Rooms are suites with kitchenettes. The summer scene shown has changed, of course, since the weather has turned cold; swimming and hiking are being replaced by winter activities, such as skiing: Gunstock, is now open with the slopes being machined; other nearby slopes are following suit.

Thanks to you both.

...and I bet you really miss that daily bicycle ride now?
Particularly insomuch as I'm now a bit lax on excercise. However, I just got a sale-priced parka and, if I can squeeze some out for some boots, maybe I can venture a wade out into the snow for walks in this winter's icy air.

...[the bicycle is] cheaper than running a Car....(just cold and wet!)...
[color=#003300]Aside from the fact that I was going to work late at night, was occasioned to be dripping wet when I arrived in warmer weather, nearly frozen with the last trek and... no one seems to know what the traffic hand signals are! Also, after three years, my lithium batteries have finally worn down and won't keep their charge if I engage my 20W

By the way, it's not ski/snowboard season yet but Gunstock has other events year round; they're a few miles down the road from my workplace.

If your query is due to checking out the Gunstock link, the Gunstock Resort is a recreation area: camping and hiking in summer and snowboarding and skiing in winter. They also have special events, especially spring through autumn; there's a Halloween event coming up -- I expect that's what caught you're eyes (and I hope you caught anything else you may have been near losing). When it was announced that they were closing the motel they used to own on Route 11, more guests were diverted to us. If this winter is like last, we'll be having tickets for their ski program packages at our front desk (although it may be easier to purchase them via internet).
