trojan avec téléchargement

Postby pilotechtimi » Mon Apr 07, 2014 11:39 am

Hello,
I would simply want to indicate that this morning during the download of CYFB (decorations(sets) FSX) a trojan skipped into the program what caused a fatal error of my FSX!
I simply want to indicate him(it) for the case or another member(limb) would have the same problem!

I assume this is the file. http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=CYFB&categoryId=

Might be worth checking out the auto-installer.

What makes you suspect a trojan? FSX can crash for a number of reasons including incorrect scenery installation.

I've scanned the zipped files with Malwarebytes and Security Essentials, and both report clean, no Trojans, nothing evil. OP better check his computer.

I just downloaded and ran the installer to a temp folder.
when the installer is finished installing, a website pops up and asks me to allow a popup.
I did not allow it (to chicken to try it)
but the extracted files all look good and clean.

I also checked it out -- and installed it into FSX (it is also installable into P3D)

As you will see from these shots, I scanned it with norton -- no problem -- pas de probleme

I suggest you scan your system with malwarebytes or a good security too/anti virus. If you are cl;ean this ios probably a false alarm. But the file is clean and safe - 100%

MALWARE BYTES

I'd highly recommened it , heres why .....

Just for grins I went and installed MALWARE BYTES and ran it to see if anything came up on my computer, sure enough there was some malicious BS, and MALWARE BYTES killed them !!!

Deal is you get to try it for FREE for like 15 days or something then have the option to buy it.

The FREE Version really gets the job done !!

I have and use Microsoft security essentials with bi-weekly updates and apparently it doesn't even stop everything as most security software doesn't - so its always good to run MALWARE BYTES every so often to make sure !!!

Malwarebytes has a totally free version -- no need to buy after any time. You can use the free version forever (at this time  )
