Am I Doing Something Wrong Or Is Downloading Disabled?

Have you ever pointed your downloads to a specific folder?
I got one folder i made on C: named >downloads<.

Well the fact that it was a .jpg is irreverent. I had just clicked on the "missions" category under the "FSX" tab and looked for a small file. The point was that it loaded. It is a small file so it loaded quickly. Now look and see how big some planes or scenery are and you will see what i am getting at. Before even if a file was 350Mb it would still go to the save/open prompt fairly quickly. So the issue might be that the browser/computer is trying to load the whole thing before giving the prompt. That's what needs to be fixed, I THINK. Just trying to figure it out. Someone with more computer knowledge then me must have an idea of how to fix this.

I've never had a problem using IE. Two things, When you click the file from Simv to download it, wait a minute after the download box shows up before you click download. I don't know if some background things are checking the file or what so try letting the box have a few seconds to load first. Hey, it works for me.. Secondly after your download is in your file, check the file to make sure its weight matches the weight of the file from Simv. I found that if the file downloads in a flash you will want to check it.

Ok, sorry for interfering, just a few Q.
Are you still using Norton?
Have you ever checked if your netprovider has any limits on downloading?

Well it fixed itself. there must have been some update somewhere. It is working fine now.

That's a good sign. Now mine has quit working properly after being auto updated from my graphics driver.

Ha, fixed mine again. Had to run FSX to re-install the .cfg file. Then I changed my settings to the last one I used and then changed the de-fault start up back to what it was.
