Connecting to server

I can not download any aircraft because it keeps talling me that it can't connect to the server.  Is there a reason for this or am I just stupid.

I also gave up after failing with:

• smart ftp

Well it is not our server - downloads are at normal levels - around 2 million per month .......

Check security settings on your browser & firewall ....

Opera browser will not work with most files on free access server - but you should have no problems with Firefox (which is Mozilla) or IE -- & smart FTP will not work obviously ....

the browser I am using is internet explorer.
when I, chose save as: it states " internet explorer can not down load USVIPER.zip from 63.217.28.218.  A connection with the server could not be established"
