Goodly evening all... <<s

Piper Turbo Arrow 111 downloaded along with Update from our Simviation Download Site.

I found the simulated aircraft fun to operate and a nice stable platform for some IFR work.

The pictures are from a local simulated flight and I used Plan G and the GPS.

Departing Nanaimo (CYCD) British Columbia, Canada on a Winter Dawn Morning for short local simulated flight

Lovely Morning

Cockpit
-unable to get GPS to work with Autopilot...probably not meant too
-the GPS is a substitute as the one supplied does not show
-Radio Digits and Instruments are a bit blurry but one can work around that using the + & - Keyboard Keys
-Never did get the Heater or Defrost to work
-Having mentioned the above the simulated aircraft is still a lot of fun and worth downloading

Comments and Advice most welcome... ;)

<<q Flying Trucker: Those are very nice pictures of the Turbo Arrow. I, like you, have a certain fondness for it and haven't put it down in several days. I've been constantly updating it closer to Lycoming and Piper specs to the US version. I wasn't able to tune the Nav 1 radios, but solved that issue. It's on this site, different thread Subject Tune Nav 1 in Piper Arrow. I rarely use GPS, but when you mentioned it, I tried something IRT utilizing the Garmin GPS 500. I used the GPS-NAV switch from the Baron 58 and it fits perfectly under the Avionics switch slightly to the right of the in-panel GPS. I was shooting an ILS (yes, using Comm-Nav1)at one airport did T&G, flipped switch to GPS and the little Arrow took off towards the other airport when I selected the Nav function (seems like the OMNI is slightly more precise, but no where like APR parameters) on the autopilot. If it's something you'd might be interested in, I'll attach the panel cfg to this forum subject. If this isn't permitted, I can "suggest an edit" to just a couple of lines in the panel.cfg.

Good morning SIMTECH

Thanks for your feedback and by all means Post that information here...

Will try to make changes later...

Half way through that FS Panel Studio Manual and trying to do what they suggest but just won't work for me...

Thinking their Manual needs to be rewritten for some of us Old Retired Rocking Chair Flying Geezers who always thought Computers were Slide Rules...

Doug, I'm including the notes on the panel. Please let me know if there are any issues. I, too, sometimes suffer from "Senior Moments". I'm posting the attachment, but it's exterior to this note. Hope it makes it.

In regards to the previous update, I've since modified the vc so that there is now, in fact, two control heads for the com-navs.
One might have to squint to read the numbers, but by using the zoom function it works well. The top head controls CN1 and the bottom CN2.
I basically squeezed two heads in the space usually reserved for one. Not realistic, but it's practical.
