Not sure how to explain this but here goes, I want to do some screen shots of a glider being towed but none of the camera angles let me zoom far enough out to take a shot from in front of or just to one side of the tow plane.

Are you using joystick/other buttons, or are you using the. - / + keys?

I mostly use the joystick but also use the +/- keys and the backspace key when the zoom function locks up.
