Lockheed Constellation in Air Françe livery. My flight from Paris to México city in 1956, was in a Super Constellation of Air Françe. We stopped to refuel at the Azores islands, at Boston & at Houston. I was under the care of the most sexy & kind stewardeses when 13 years old


Last, an unknown (to me) the Howard 500. While the Howard 500 bore a strong resemblance to Lockheed Lodestars and Lockheed Venturas , it was a substantially new design, and all 500s had completely new fuselages. The only major components taken directly from its Lockheed forebears were the outer wing panels (from surplus Venturas) and undercarriage (from Harpoons), here in mid flight from Madrid to Bilbao:
