The ring

Postby pilotwin7 » Tue Oct 06, 2015 8:21 pm

At 2000 ft, attitude. Spectacular landscape view below breathtaking .
The Grand Canyon National Park. It took mother earth nearly two billion years of making the giant hole.
There are no words you can express the beauty until you really there to see.
Suddenly the knocking in my head, and the voice bushing out.
WHO ?,...GIVE A RIP ABOUT THE ACCIDENT REPORT. YOU ARE EMBERRASS ME
AND ALL THE PC PILOT THAT THE ONLY THING PC PILOT BARELY TALK ABOUT OR DISCUSS.
And it bad enough taking picture of the crash and burn to show the world to see. And writing yourself an accident report...
By the way... Where is the radio operator? Last time I check only two, the pilot and Co. pilot, and you not the captain.
....OK.OK ..Ok.. That's it.... I can no long listen to all abusive true, that my sub conscience throw around in my head anymore.
say Who?, ... Said I can not handle the true, yes I can. ..yes I can.
It my dream I'm longing for, all my life was able to fly and live in my world i call (THE LA-LA LAND)
It getting dark outside, not much to see, feel so cold in here, first time flight at night not bad as i though.
But the feeling flight at night it not my favor one can see nothing but darkness , the moon not out tonight. Very creepy
knowing the crews member at your side you not alone but cannot see and hear.
That what I'm talking about, chills run down my spine

Happy Halloween

Well done...very evocative.

For those who may be thinking of visiting the real thing, I recommend the North Rim rather than the more well-known, and popular (and therefore overcrowded), South Rim. The North Rim is about 1,000ft higher than the South, at around 9,000ft. And, the drive in by the Vermilion Cliffs, over the Colorado River bridge and down through the Ponderosa pine forest is quite special. There is a hotel with spectacular views and small cabins to rent, and a nice little RV park which sets you up for a beautiful walk to the hotel restaurant.
