Fun in the Farallons

Postby Fozzer » Mon Sep 17, 2007 6:01 am

Hello Chums... :)...!

(FS 2004)...;)...!

Just having my usual daily flights around San Francisco and the surrounding area (as I do!), and decided to wander out past the Aircraft Carrier (just off Golden Gate Bridge) and have a peek at the Dolphin and Seal antics around the Farallon Islands.... :)...!

A couple of shots which I hope you like... :-*....>>>>

Circling the Islands....>>>

Note the Helicopter Landing Pad!....>>>

...a couple more little Islands/Rocks in the distance....>>>

Golden Gate Bridge is in the Far Background...>>>

Take a trip out from Half moon Bay (KHAF), and head past the Carrier to reach the Islands.

A nice little extra Scenery add-on, for the 'Frisco area.... ;)...!

Search Sim V, Flightsim, Avsim for "Farallon Islands"...(I forgot where I got it!)... ;)...!

Cheers Chums... :)...!

F....G-BPLF... 8-)...!

P.S. On a clear day the Farallon Islands can be seen from Daly City on the Pacific Coast of San Francisco.. ;)

...fortunately...

The San Francisco Tourist Board frown upon such activities in a "Conservation Area"...;)...!

F.....LOL.... ;D...!

Another interesting location, Angel Island, near Golden Gate Bridge, overlooking Alcatraz Prizon...>>>
