Here's a few photos I've taken in the past few days.

First of all I went over to Shoreham last Thursday to try & catch Peter Teichman's P-51D in her new colours. This was worth waiting for.
"Jumpin' Jacques" is now "Tall In The Saddle".


Also caught John Romain in the ARCo Tr.9.


Then down to Popham on Sunday for the Motorcycle Mega-meet & Fly-in. Lots of motorbikes & aeroplanes in almost perfect weather for a change.
A smashing day out. Here's a small selection of the aircraft.

A rare bird in these parts. Porterfield CP50 Collegiate.


Not so rare. A nice Jodel.


The resident Yak 52.


From the sublime to the ridiculous, or vice versa. The largest single-engined biplane in the World to a couple of the smallest.






A surprise visitor. Slingsby Skylark from nearby Lasham landing out.




The tug arrives to pick it up.

Another nice surprise. This time the BBMF Mk IIa gave us a few passes on its way through..

FANTASTiC "FEW"!! The WWI Staaken Flitzer (pic #8) must have inspired Dr. Porsche for his VW aircooled engine with Okrasa vented valve covers & alles!!
