Goodly morning all... <<t

Stephane...here are the screenshots with only the Frame Rates set at 45.

All other settings remained the same as in Post 5A

Noticed quite a drop in Frame Rates when talking with Air Traffic Control.

Everything ran smooth.

Frame Rate at 45

Hi Doug,

I just saw the two topics at once.
I'm surprised by the FPS impact you get when you switch to limited FPS. 18 FPS only in the virtual cockpit is unexpected at this point. Surely there are some settings, out of the game but rather in Windows or in the NVidia Control Panel, that can be adjusted to make this better :)

Would it be possible to make a screenshot of the current video card settings in your NVidia Control Panel ?

Hope this helps Stephane...

Sorry about the clarity...took pictures by using Windows Key and Print Screen Key on Keyboard.

Thanks Doug, I could see what I needed :)
A few more questions though:
- How many screens are you using ? You mentioned two of them in your previous topics, right ?
- In the simulator settings, is the "DX10 Preview" option enabled or not ?
- Beside FSX, are you playing any other games on that computer ? (this is just to understand if we can alter the "global" settings, of if we should alter the FSX-specific profile instead).

Right now I think you simply need to set the "Power Management Mode" to "Prefer maximum performance".
Also, the negative LOD bias should be set to "Prevent" (or "Disabled", I never remember the exact value... anyways, not "Allow" :) ).
