Many Thanks, Tug!.... :D ...!

I note many of my You Tube biking Chums in Canada and New England, etc, have laid their bikes up for the Winter, due to deep snow, etc.....

...and many of them are wishing they lived down in Florida, where they ride their bikes around all year long....even though the temperature can get as low as 50*F!.... .... ....!

Me?
...as my trusty Honda Cruiser is my only means of daily transport, I have to ride it all year round...come rain or shine!

As long as the roads are clear of Ice and Snow I feel fairly secure...with both legs firmly planted on the gound (Cruiser-style), and a light-weight bike!

45*F in my back garden at mid-day today!... :P ...!

Cheers Tug...Thanks again for watching my You Tube explorations!.... ....!

I was going to video a ride around the local countryside this afternoon, but after checking the local weather forecast, being; 39*F, dropping to 32*F (FREEZING!) I considered it was far too cold for my old bones, so I just went shopping to Sainsbury's and back again instead... ....!

But my You-Tube Harley Biking chums, up in Connecticut (New England) way, are made of much stronger stuff than me!... ;) ....!

A "Christmassy" 2016! ride with seasonable music accompaniment...

Enjoy!

I wrapped up with all my winter-biking clothes, but the cold winter blast on my face, with my open face helmet, was far too uncomfortable!

Paul.....I need...Warmth!.... :D ...!

Beautiful sunny day here on the North German Plain and was going for a ride.........until I saw it was -5°C. That is even too cold for my heated jacket....

Low of 4*C (39*F), high of 6*C (43*F) in my back garden today, 30th December.

An extremely quick shopping trip to Sainsbury's and back, in the watery sunshine!

Far too cold for comfort, (mine).... ...!

Now we have got the worst in front of us.....January and February!

All my You-Tube, North American States biking chums are suffering the same fate!

The temperature in San Francisco is similar to mine!... ....>>>> http://kron4.com/category/weather/

Hello Chums!

...from Chilly England...

....as I sit in my living room, looking out of the window at the watery Winter Sun (41*F) in my back garden, with my central heating set on high (75*F), I uploaded one of my last Summer short trips in the warm Sun, to remind myself just how much fun, and pleasant it was at the time!...>>>

Waiting for Summer Warmth to envelope me again!.... :D ....!

Have fun, all you Bikers out there who are brave enough to ride in the Winter cold!

Ta, Dave.... ;) ....!

...All is going well...apart from the chilly English Winter Weather which keeps me from enjoying my daily rides!

I keep looking at the South Florida Weather Forecast (85*F) and wishing I was there!..... ....!

All my You-Tube Biking Chums in Northern USA are parking their bikes up until Spring arrives again!

Weather watching every morning to decide whether to ride...or not....

...mostly not, at the moment!...-5*C!

Paul.... :D ....!

P.S...I love it when my American Chums quote their Temperature in old-fashioned; "Fahrenheit".... ...!

I learnt my lesson back in 1961 during an unusual winter freeze-up in Weston-Super-Mare of all places. Rode my 1939 Model G Enfield with both feet down to and from RAF camp through a foot of frozen and rutted snow in makeshift winter clothing. I swear that's the reason we stopped having kids. Of course, now having experienced severe winter conditions in Northern BC, there's no way any sane person would straddle a 2 wheel steed here.

An interesting experiment for all we Motorcycle engine crack-heads/enthusiasts!

A Side-valve, 4-stroke engine, with a transparent cylinder-head (clear plastic!) showing the combustion cycle, in very slow filmed motion!

Intake, combustion, compression, exhaust.

(Engine similar to the lovely-old 1939/1940's Harley Davidson WLC/WLA, 750cc, "Flat Head", Vee-Twin*!)

A rare chance to see what is going on inside that growling, throbbing monster between our legs!... ....!

Paul....More January biking videos coming up soon!.... ...!

Went for a little spin today in the cold and damp, and the engine loved it!
