That is a sweet way of cleaning off the truck, may have to get a blower like that. Beats using a brush like I did this morning. :angry-screaming:

Keep smiling

Hello Chums!

Saturday the 25th of March 2017.

A fantastic, bright sunny, early Spring afternoon, to take a ride on my Motorcycle down the highways and byways of Rural Herefordshire.

Still a little bit chilly for my old bones, 57*F, but I wrapped up in warm clothes and enjoyed the sunshine!

Enjoy the trip with me!...>>>>

Hello Chums!..... :D ...!

Another nice sunny mid afternoon, so what could be nicer than a short run out into the countryside for a visit to a Local Saxon Church, of which there are many in Herefordshire, together with Medieval Castles!

This particular 12th Century Church...>>> https://www.hereford.anglican.org/ManselLacy/

Just a little fun snippet from today's short journey!

...with added music...>>>

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkIsuZi-bcI&t=15s

I have my Microphone fitted inside my helmet for recording sounds on my Video Camera (SJ Cam 4000), but unlike my American Biker Chums, I am not very good at "talking" endlessly! (Moto-blogging!), during my trips, and describing the scenery, etc, as it passes by.
...or just chatting away, about anything and everything whilst riding!.... ;) ....!
Which is why I always have to "text-narrate" my journeys on the film during editing, or in this case, add music instead!

Each time I go out for a video ride I constantly try to find a location on me, or my Bike, for my Mic, just to pick up my exhaust/engine sound, and avoid picking up wind noise at the same time!

Still haven't found the ideal location for the Mic yet!

Paul.... :D ....!

....an excellent example of "Moto-Blogging" by Freedom Rider in Massachusetts (New England).

Good video Paul. better with music, nice choice. Very clear and refreshing, without glitches, you're getting very professional.

Ta Log!.... :D ....!

The thing I like about my You Tube "Motobloggers" is listening to the sound of their Harley Davidson big-twin exhausts as they ride.

I just wish I could get a similar sort of exhaust sound from my Honda Twin but without all the wind noise, and me coughing and spluttering that goes with it!

Maybe, if I poke my Microphone up the rear-end, (where the Sun dont shine!), of my exhaust pipes?..... ..... ....!

...of course, it may sound better if I really had a Harley Davidson Big Twin in the first place... ...!

Maybe some of the Riders use cameras, Go-Pro, Sena, etc, that have built-in filters, to prevent recording extraneous noises/sounds?

Even tho' I have a "fluffy" cover over my Mic, (like the pro's use), it still picks up wind noise, when on the move!

Still got lots of experiments to do with Microphone placement... :? ...!

Maybe I should wrap me, and my Mic, in a woolly blanket?.... ....!

...... ....!

My latest trip from Hereford to Pembridge Village, and Shobdon Airfield (EGBS) on the 8th of April 2017.

A beautiful sunny day in Herefordshire!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZ-bKyC4Y8A

I did take a few photos around the Airfield, but with "Elf and Safety" restrictions abounding, there always a chance of getting a tap on the shoulder by a Hi-Viz jacketed security individual!

With everything fenced-off, very little chance of wandering around the Aircraft on the ground!

...a shame, for a small airfield. I remember it never used to be like it in the distant past!

Hello Jet!.... :D ...!

Many Thanks for popping over to our side of "The Pond", especially as I seem to spend all my Flight Sim time over your side!... ;) ...!

The Bike:
Phelon and Moore (P&M) Panther!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phelon_%26_Moore

Very popular over here in England, especially amongst Side-Car enthusiasts in its later days in 600 and 650cc single cylinder sizes!
I almost purchased one in 1960 for my Sidecar, but finally opted for my 1948 Vincent HRD 1000cc Vee-Twin instead!

Motorcycle Cannonball Run....(Forget the 1981 Burt Reynolds film!)...... ...!

From the East Coast to the West Coast.

I love all these old Machines, and for anyone else similarly interested, a You Tube visit to the various annual; "Motorcycle Cannonball Run" is well worth a visit to observe them!
Some wonderful vintage machines: Indian, Henderson, Harley Davidson, Excelsior, BMW, and some old BSA's, etc, from Britain!

http://www.motorcyclecannonball.com/

The 2016 Cannonball Run. Part 1!...>>>

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4DfqVgXghE&t=47s

Follow them all, from start to finish, for a motorcycle experience, back in the Olden Days!

"Wind in the Hair and flies in the Teeth" is not only restricted to vintage aircraft!.... :D ....!

....enjoy!

The famous "Harley Time Line"!...>>>>

Many Thanks, Dave!..... :D ...!

Like you, waiting for the weather to get a little bit warmer.... ....

...but it still doesn't stop me from going out and about on my rides....

...with my trusty Video Camera!

As long as its not poring with rain...I'm good to go!.... ....!

Some of the machines on the Cannonball Run....Notice the preponderance of 1915 Harley Davidsons! Wonderful "F-Head" machines; (Inlet over Exhaust Valves)....Fast and reliable!.... ;) ....!
