Behind the times....

Postby Fozzer » Fri Dec 23, 2016 4:41 am

....WOW!.... .....

That's the first time that I haven't reminded my Chums of the two Solstice's.... ...!

Summer and Winter!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winter_solstice

Well, last Wednesday, 21st of December, was the Winter Solstice; the shortest day and the longest night, up here in the Northern Hemisphere!

The good news now, Friday, 23rd; the days are getting longer and the nights are getting shorter again.... ...!

Its still Winter, and its still very cold, but at least the darkness of Winter is behind us again...slowly!

I suspect that the worst of Winter will be in January and February, but at least after the end of that, Spring will be on its way...

...and that always cheers me up!

Just got to get Xmas done and dusted now!.... ;) ....!

...and look forward to a warm and cosy 2017.... :D ....!

Happy Crimbo, everyone!.... ....!

Paul..... ...!

My birth month, November, is rather dreary... we Fall behind as we head into Winter but, at winter's end, we'll Spring ahead...

Best Wishes to All
