...when apparently sensible folk talk about travelling from planet Earth, into space... :o ....

...and I think to my self, (in my sensible moments)....what with all the space junk, and danger of space radiation, and just about every other danger, and these folk still think it is a sensible thing to do to travel into space..... ... ...!

If you thought Interstate I-405 was a dangerous place to travel in Los Angeles, have a peek here...>>>

It's a "Catch 22" situation (minus the B-25 squadron) because every flight to space leaves more & more junk around Earth. And throwing back all that junk may hit us on the head!! In times past, the race "do it before Russia". Now, the race is "do it before the Chineese". REDUCTIO AD ABSURDUM!! :snooty: :snooty: :snooty:

Me, I prefer the beach, where females wear those tiny flossing threads called "tangas". They conceal NOTHiNG!!

It's not a matter of the Space Junk coming down; it's a matter of it running into each other!

A good example of this is the premise for the recent movie Gravity.

As to the Manned Space Program... as I've said previously, do not get me started.
