ProFlight phishing emails

Some people just have nothing better to do. It ain't from ProFlight.

The unsubscribe link does not work. They say you can write them to unsubscribe, OK, not a good idea to send your name/email/home address off into space. The address they give is 16768 E Smoky Hill Rd Aurora CO 80015, which turns out to be a Midas Muffler Shop.

And my Yahoo filter doesn't seem to work on this either. They pop up in the Scam folder, but I can' filter them directly to Trash.

We're gonna find this guys or these guys, stuff 'em into a Time Machine, send 'em back to Ancient Rome, and let the Emperor deal with 'em, cause I'm gitting rightly tired of this.

Don't bother with the Time Machine and all of that other riff raff... just send the Unsubscribe notices to the Muffler Shop! Oooh... Smoky Hill Rd. & Buckley!

Better yet... be judicious about the FS Sites you peruse, and extra pernicious before clicking that 'Download' button!

The guys @ Midas are probably pushing the FlightSim as a side job...

The crooks have added "VRacer" to their email scams. I wonder if it's the free open source Speed Dreams program?

"Hey,
If you're a car simulator fan like me, you've got to check out VRacer now.
Fact is, it may just revolutionize everything you've thought about car racing games."

Typical of marketing morons, use of the word "revolutionize" in the spam ad copy. When you see that, almost always a scam, along with "At last, Finally", etc.

So far this week I have had 5 Emails for Proflight this week, I have been on their website and pointed out that they were conning their customers and also using video presentation of other sim software mostly FSX. If you look at their video you will plainly see that there are many instances of this one of the most blatant is the use of Aerosofts Lukla. Quite how they can get away with it I do not know.

....and the universal use of the word; "Awesome" should also ring a warning bell, in declaring that something is more magnificent than it really is, and its authenticity is dubious.

Try phoning Malware Bytes.You get on to an Indian
Guy,who without your permission takes over your
computer and deletes a bunch of your files.

It cost me a couple of hundred bucks for my computer
Dude to fix it all up.

I no longer have Malware Bytes.

The 'real' one is: 'malwarebytes' (all lower case) and the fake one is 'malware bytes'. Can you spot the difference in spelling? They are two completely different people.

The spelling mistake was mine.I have had the real
malwarebytes for some years.They now have a different
system when you phone them.You are given the usual
choice of leaving a message or talking to them.

There is a delay and a person with an Indian accent asks
about your problem.He then asks you to hang up and they will call you back.

They then phone you back.

It has happened to others and the people who built my computer
have told me this has become common.

BTW.I traced the phone number,and it is the same as the one
on my paperwork from them.

They say they are in Perth W.A but the number takes you to India.

End of story.
