"For most people the scariest thing about death isn't being dead; it's dying suffering..."

A fantastic speaker and inspiring human being.

Thank you :D Mr. BJ Miller for a wisdom that only comes from having been through a lot of suffering. And having overcome adversity.

At the end of our lives, what do we most wish for? For many, it’s simply comfort, respect, love. BJ Miller is a palliative care physician who thinks deeply about how to create a dignified, graceful end of life for his patients.
Take the time to savor this moving talk, which asks big questions about how we think on death and honor life.

As always PW7 this is great insight into things that we don`t want to delve into to deeply but we know that deep in our heart that is the deal we all made at birth!!! Good to think about from time to time, thanks for the update and I wish you well on your journey as well as mine.

Well, don't know about the laughing part but, perhaps, we can cheer it up a bit. If I've her birth year correct, today would be the 130th anniversary of my paternal grandmother's birth. Her birth date marks the half-way point per the calendar -- winter is half over!

Sheena Iyengar studies how we make choices -- and how we feel about the choices we make. At TEDGlobal, she talks about both trivial choices (Coke v. Pepsi) and profound ones,
and shares her groundbreaking research that has uncovered some surprising attitudes about our decisions.
