Thank you for the kind words! When I get positive feedback, it only motivates me to work harder and do more. I've only been a member of the flight sim community for a short time, only two years. I've been running a flight sim group during that time, as well as honing my skills on rewriting configs, xml files (poorly done at the moment LOL), and sceneries. I'm always humble at taking requests for photoreal sceneries, but it's the 3D objects I'm really interested in getting good at right now.

I've been working on that KXNA scenery for about two years, and at the beginning I knew NOTHING of how to do any of this. At the time, I found that great freeware KXNA 2012, but there was an invisible box in front of the tower that kept crashing my aircraft, the jetways weren't animated, and it only had one season. I decided to just make a new one using ADE, but after doing that with stock assets, I wanted more. This is what drove me to keep working to what you're seeing today.

Great guys and/or gals with free software has enabled me to learn so much, so credit goes out to FSDeveloper, ModelConverterX, Scruffyduck's Airport Design Editor, SBuilderX, GIMP, Sketchup, Simviation, Fly Away Simulation, AVSIM, and anyone else I forgot to mention. I'm not done yet, by a long shot, so any help on any of my projects is always appreciated.

Drop by my Teamspeak sometime, if you're interested in chatting with the members of my group and I, or if you're interested in getting involved in projects, especially if you're good at 3D modeling, programming, animations, or graphic design. The TS address is fsxfuscentral.dynu.com.

Anthin's right, it's a fun nuthouse. But beware, it can be very addictive. Personally I can't think of a better addiction than hanging out with the folks here.

If it moves and it's not supposed to - use the Duct Tape.

Speaking of addiction :shifty: , I stayed up late tonight working on KXNA again. Take a look...

ModelConverterX wouldn't compile the terminal, because the roof lights were too complex. I reworked them for optimization, and as you can see from this picture, the finished product looks almost the same.

New terminal with the roof lights compiled and working correctly. Also added working jetways to Concourse A. They are properly labeled with the gate numbers and are coded for the airline that use each gate.

No recent updates on current projects. Apologies for not posting in awhile. I've been busy with outside enjoying the summer and taking flying lessons at my local airport. I plan on resuming these projects this fall when the weather forces me back indoors.

Hey guys!

I just wanted to update everyone on the progress of this scenery. I took a bit of time off this summer to spend time with my family and work on other projects, but this project is still in the works. I also have a list of other airports that I will be working on as well. Once I complete the entire project, I will be releasing it on Simviation as the Northwest Arkansas Experience. These airports will include...

KXNA Northwest Arkansas Regional, Bentonville
AR09 Bella Vista Field, Gravette
1AR5 Cherokee Strip, Gentry
2AR5 Ashmore Field, Centerton
KVBT Bentonville Mun, Bentonville
KROG Rogers Executive, Rogers
6AR1 Elder Airstrip, Lowell
AR91 Circle S Farms, Lowell
5M5 Crystal Lake, Decatur
KSLG Smith Field, Siloam
38AR Williams Field, Siloam
KASG Springdale Mun, Springdale
40AR Lost Bridge Village, Garfield
67AR Wedington Wood, Fayetteville
KFYV Drake Field, Fayetteville

There are other airfields in this area that are overgrown/no long being used. I will create photoreal coverage for those areas, so that they no longer distract from the experience.

The plan is to create 4 season Orbx color-matched photoreal scenery for these airports. They will all have an assortment of custom buildings and textures, depending on if I am able to gain access to them. I will be periodically posting screenshots of my progress on this project.

If you are a graphic design artist or scenery developer interested in participating in this project, feel free to contact me on Steam, ID JackRiordan, or email me at fsxf.server@yahoo.com.

Many thanks, Anthin. Would you be interested in testing some of this scenery as I make progress? Constructive criticism is always appreciated!

Hey Jack! Sure I'll test it but I only have P3d now (3&4)
V3 is like an advanced FSXA so everything should be compatible. Probably v4 too.
Looks great
