Problem with every B777-300 :(

Postby Overlord » Sun Aug 31, 2014 2:59 pm

Hello guys. Could you help me with this issue? In every 777-300 model I am missing the 2nd lcd panel in the plane (it also causes taht AP is not usable, you cant set the heading, speed, alt, etc. by mouse clicking) and there is the error message b777serv.dll and something about it.

Only way how I can fix it (what I have found out) is that I use whole panel folder from different two engine Boeing and replace it. It will solve it but I would like to have the original B777serv.dll file which works. Because all the B777 are awesome with so many functional buttons etc.

Thanks for help and tips.

Select one of your 777s in Free Flight. When you see this option pop-up click Run.

You will then see this. Click Yes.

That should fix it.

You might have to do this for every variation of the 777 you have installed the first time you select it.

That's odd. It works for me.

I got the same error message as in your shot when I clicked the Don't Run option.

Might be a good idea to uninstall your 777. Then reinstall. In between start and close FSX. Then retsrt FSX with new 777 installed and do as Hagar suggests.

Quite a few fixes require FSX to be restarted (though it doesn't request this ;) )

If anybody could send me the file from any working B777 panel folder I would be very thankful.

b777serv.dll it has about 649kb.

Upload it to some service like mega.co.nz or smt like that.

I would try to replace my file with your file and hope that will help, but I'am affraid that even when I allow the file I still get the message this wont probably help me, but want to try it.

I've done as you asked. This is the file from the aircraft in my earlier shot. https://mega.co.nz/#!n4dwxBJB!FPWf13F9rcypNWrOoqZGHl6X6lxc88ko5owWpnj3knc

Not that I think that it will do the slightest good. It's exactly the same file that is included with all the Posky 777-300s I've tried. I'm sure the answer to your problem is simple enough. You could try moving b777serv.dll from the panel folder of one of your 777s to your FSX\Gauges folder. Then select the aircraft in Free Flight & see what happens.

Good luck anyway.

Unfortunately notihng helped so I'am definitely screwed with the 777's :( Like I said I can fly it with panel from dreamliner but it is not the right feeling. I like the 777's models because there are so many panel overviews and functional buttons.
Do you know about any 767/787 model here to download? Model which has many functional buttons too? I could replace the panel folder again to make these 777 work.
