FS9 Lancaster Of the Dam Busters

Postby Amelia » Sat Sep 03, 2016 4:37 pm

I DL this FS9 Lancaster of the Dam Busters, I was on the RAF Field at Scampton, I could not start the engines. They
would not start at all, it has a very good panel and you can sit in the nose for the bomb aimer.

Thank You

Ameila

From my experience, there is nothing more embarrassing than to get half way down the road, the engine splutters to a standstill, and you realise that your haven't turned the Fuel Cock to "On"...... :auto-sportbike: .....!

Paul.... ....!

You're lucky .... I've been "sputtering" way before I ever got halfway ..... down the road.

Hi Everyone!

Thank you for your imput on the Dam Buster Lancaster. You are all right I have to open them fuel cocks, then I
took off, I flew up the Los Ness to the Dermant Water Dam if Scotland this was the Dam they did their did
tranning on. As I could see the Dam coming up fast I went to the bomb aimer's seat in the nose. I looked through
the sight lining up the end of the sight on the twin towers, when I was 600 yds from the Dam and 60 ft above the
water I released the upkeep bomb, this is not easy but it was as close to the real thing I could get. I tried this at
night I dropped it either to early or to late having to pull up and over the hills, but thank you all for your help you
are great people.
