Right. That is what I have my settings at airline traffic=100% general aviation=50% ground equipment=100% so why don't I see any AI traffic when I take those two files out and go back to the FSX default KSTL scenery or reactivate the scenery. My airline traffic density never changed. It was always set to 100%. I am using Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. FSX GOLD with Acceleration pack. Dave

Sorry Dave. I'm sure there's a simple explanation but I'm fresh out of ideas. Perhaps someone else can help.

I live on the south coast of England. No problem with posting questions as I usually check this forum at least once a day.

That's awesome. So your 6 hours ahead of me or 7? These time zones always get me messed up.

OK, is there someone else who can give me a helping hand and help me get my AI traffic back at KATL AND KSTL.

If these are the only fields missing ai flights, then i suppose you still might have some leftover "plans" from your previous install!

Then this might not help, but no harm on checking your fsx.cfg, under
[Main]
--------
SimObjectPaths.6=SimObjects\Airplanes\AI Airplanes
-----

Thanks to all who tried to help me with my missing AI traffic. Gave up and went to WOAI and just downloaded all the airlines that serve KSTL and KATL. BANG POP BOOM got more planes than I know what to do with. Should have just done this to begin with. Thanks everyone, Dave..................

Went to FSX.cfg-SimObjectPaths.0=SimObjects\Airplanes. Their is no mention of AI Airplanes. Could not find any SimObjectsPaths.6= SimObjects\Airplanes\AI Airplanes. What should I be looking for? Dave..............

I was trying to tell you to look in the .cfg to see if you miss
> SimObjectPaths.6=SimObjects\Airplanes\AI Airplanes <
in the [main] sector.
If its not there, copy it and put in in as the next SimObjectPaths "XX"
In this way you'll get stock ai planes to work, but not if you got some fs9 plans installed! (Ref. another thread).

Are you sure about this Bass? The path shown is not a default location. All default aircraft used as AI traffic will be in the SimObjects\Airplanes folder.

OK. First, there is no SimObjectPaths.6=SimObject\Airplanes\AI Airplanes in the Main section of FSX.cfg but the default AI aircraft are in my SimObjects\ Airplane folder and I can select one to fly from the current aircraft list in free flight. I have all default A321, 737 -800 747-400 AND CRJ 700 from World Travel Orbit Pacifica etc just not in AI traffic form. So do I add that line to my FSX.cfg or not.

No. I think Bass is getting confused.

Did you read my latest reply in your other topic? http://forums.simviation.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=170471
I think that AIFP2 will help sort out you problems.

Yes I did, but not sure I understand what to do. Don't want to mess up what I already have.

You won't mess anything up.

Use AIFP2 to check for FS9 Traffic Files in your FSX\Scenery\World\Scenery folder. If it finds any you can use it to convert them to FSX format. They will be saved to a directory of your choice with a _FSX suffix. Save them to your FSX\Scenery\World\Scenery folder.

Make sure you remove any corresponding files in FS9 format after conversion. There is an option to do this automatically.
