New Southwest livery

Postby EdK » Sun Jul 19, 2015 7:13 pm

Hello,I was wondering if anyone had plans to do a repaint of the new Southwest colors. I have collected most of the liveries available but I haven't found this one. A repaint for the default 737 in fsx would be great. Thanks, Ed

Hi there

I'm currently busy doing the new Southwest livery on a Boeing 737-Max8 model. Will be done hopefully by tomorrow.

All done :)

Pretty happy with the end product... available soon. Uploaded it last night. Will probably be available sometime today. Textures only.

Hi Jacques(?)

Thanks for doing this and your other great repaints O0

I always check out files wherever possible and as yours come with the description being a full file -- including Alrot's great VC -- I add this to your planes as Chris Evans has done in his packages.

If it were textures only - only very experienced users (small % of FS users) could fly a full aircraft as the views etc would have to be edited in the aircraft.cfg file. You will see textures only files get a few 100 downloads at max -- whereas the full files get 1000's

So this is a full file, ready to fly, including the Alrot VC 8-)

The plane looks great but I'm a little confused. Is this a full aircraft or is this textures for the TDS base model. If it is a full model, what are the install instructions? Thanks,Ed

Thanx Pete... will do :)

EdK... hi there. This is a textures only file for the TDS aircraft... sorry about that, will add it in the description next time :-)

Kind regards

..... Just to say again --- I added the model and vc as this was how it's described. Unless I do that no-one will have a VC aircraft. It's a FULL aircraft (you can see the model/panel inside the file)

Install instructions are as for all - if you need to know how to install aircraft - please see this

GripenFlyer, I don't usually fly those big things without propellers (a person could crash & die in such a thing), but I must say that it looks great!

Pete, thank you for pointing that out. I feel like such a dimwit for never noticing it before. Again, Thank you very much.
