Can you all please please start making FS2004 aircraft etc the same quality as FSX P3D and FSX-SE. There are still people out there like me that still use FS2004. I do relize FSX and so on has better graphics and all but to me its just not fair that FSX gets all the good stuff if you will and FS2004 gets the left overs. Every time I see a new aircraft for FSX its got things such as realistic FMCs custom sound sets and so on. It makes me think that none of the developers seem interested in making FS2004 aircraft and so on every bit as nice or as good as FSX. I am sure that FS2004 users out there like me would really appreciate it if the devs would step up their game and start making fs2004 aircraft, scenery and so on just as good quality as they do for FSX and FSX-SE, and P3D ;)

You MUST bear in mind that FS2004 is very different to FSX!!
If you want FSX quality/eye-candy etc, then buy FSX. You cannot expect/demand things of developers.
Have a look at Milton & team's planes. They are stunning in FS2004. There are a lot of other developers, both freeware & payware that have done amazing things with an older simulator.

Also, the FS2004 simmer market has become a lot smaller than FSX, FSX: SE & P3D!

You mentioned scenery! In FS2004, thanks to the late Garry Smith from http://www.ford-tri-motor.net/
We have ramps, circular runways & even sloping runways, as well as a vast collection of scenery, planes & textures, all free for FS2004.

To be very honest, I've been simming since the very early days, & have become bored with the usual point to point flying in (in my humble opinion, after a long time simming) basically the same Airbus's & Boeing's & similar planes. I have a separate install of Golden Wings & also an install of the Ford Project stuff. ALL of which cannot be found in FSX!!!!!!

So, yes, developers ARE actually still supporting FS2004, AND giving us amazing things that FSX cannot!!

So what if the fs2004 simmer market has become smaller. Just because the fs2004 simmer community has become smaller doesn't mean we should be stuck primarily with default panels and sounds for almost all of the fs2004 aircraft. Futhermore I do have some payware aircraft and I buy when I can. I am sorry but I just think that using default panels and sounds is a little boring and does not give me the realism as FSX and P3D, Also I am demanding anything, I am just asking for the devs to be a little more fair to us fs2004 simmers instead of having things like the default panels and sounds in almost every fs2004 aircraft. There are some people such as myself that can not always afford to buy payware all the time, know what I mean?

There are very good FS9 quality payware free planes, in addition of late Garry's Ford Trimotor and those listed by Dave T. All MUST HAVE

Milton Shupe and friends: Beech 18, Aero commader, Grumman tracker, tracer etc. Mallard, Locckheed Electra, Lodestar Howard 500, search here at Simviation: http://simviation.com//1/search?submit=1&keywords=milton+shupe&categoryId=31

Mikko Malieni Maule: http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=MauleM7_260.zip&x=0&y=0

Restauravia (several historical french planes): http://restauravia.fr/html/creations_fs2004.html

Isra's Dassault Mirage: http://www.opus2.ch/page_7.htm

Mmmm, a bit confused by the comment that there are default panels & sounds in almost every FS2004 plane!!
I really have not found that at all.. Just saying..

I agee wuth Dave T's & Papiuwall's list of planes, ALL freeware, & non with default anything.

I do know what you mean, DAL555, there are a lot of us who cannot afford payware add-ons.
However, there are more than enough freeware add-ons that are even better than payware.
It will be too long a list to put here, but obviously, Milton & team, Bill Lyons, Greg Pettep, Garry Jones, Oliver W Fischer, Manuele Villa, Jens B. Kristensen, Bob Chicilo, Vladimir A. Zhyhulskiy, Edward cook, the list goes on & on, none with default sounds or panels. Bear in mind that sometimes, default sounds will be aliased to similar engines. There are more than 10 years of amazing add-ons out there, better than FSX's.

Maybe, DAL555, there are things that you think are missing & you can develop to give back to our FS2004 community?
Or give some ideas to us? Which planes have default panels? Maybe we can point you towards others that will fit, as I'm sure you are aware that there is a large panel repositery in our very own library?
