I'm sorry to put a damper on your enthusiasm, Mr. Jetranger.

That "L-1011 Project"? It don't come with no pretty stewardesses like you like so much. :(

Maybe it's just me, but I like my women to be small enough to fit IN the aircraft.

Yes, except that "This blog documents a project to build a functional Lockheed L-1011 cockpit replica at the National Museum of Commercial Aviation using real flight hardware, NI labVIEW and the x-Plane software platform"

There is a difference there ...

Thanks,

HOLY SHIZNIT !!! how long did it take to build that?
That ranks right up there with one of the nicest I have ever seen !
Gigabyte X79 Chip set Mobo
Intel-i7 4820K CPU/Liquid cooled
Single GTX Titan 6gig GPU/ extreme air cooled
16 gig/1600 MHz quad channel DDR3
1 T/B -Raid-0 array,Risking it all for every ounce of performance until I go with SSD's

no kiddin', bet it was easier than tryin to put together one of those 144 scale plastic jetliner models,, I had 1 and basically gave up on it, the parts are too small and not all that detailed.

Now this I could get into, if I wanted to drop the money to do it and actually had a place big enough.

tho, I'd either have to do a :

Boeing 727

Boeing 707

Lockheed Constellation

Lockheed Electra

Douglas DC6

or the Concorde

I'd actually like to build them all as virtual cockpits, buttttttt, me don't live in dat' big of a House !!!

and I really don't see me sittin outside in -20 below cold shiverin tryin to land and operate the sim,, with ice hangin off my eye lids, sayin to myself, isn't this great, Whoopeeeee !!!
